The Reading Habits Tag...

Another reading survey stolen from the lovely Jenni.  Thanks, girl!  :)

1.  Do you have a certain place for reading at home?
In bed or on the front porch.

2.  Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Bookmark all the way!

3.  Can you just stop reading or do you stop after a chapter or a certain number of pages?
I used to go chapter to chapter now, I just read until I'm too tired to read anymore & that I start at a new paragraph.

4.  Do you eat or drink while reading?
Lately, it's been cheese whips, Swedish Fish & water.

5.  Do you watch TV or listen to music while reading?
Typically, the hubby has the TV on while I'm reading but I do like to listen to score music when reading.

6.  One book at a time or several at once?
One at a time.  If I try to read more, I get them all mixed up with each other.  Cannot have that!  Ha!

7.  Reading at home or everywhere?
I read everywhere.  If my reading material isn't on my Kindle, I've been bringing the physical book with me everywhere.  :)

8.  Reading out loud or silently in your head?
Silently.

9.  Do you ever read ahead or skip pages?
No.  Sometimes when something big is about to happen, I'll cover up everything that I haven't read yet so I don't jump ahead.  Tee hee!

10.  Breaking the spine or keeping it new?
Breaking the spine?!?!  Who in their right mind would do that?!  No way!  I like my books in the best possible shape.

11.  Do you write in your books?
Nope.  See above.

12.  What are you currently reading?
Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris.

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
