Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...that I have such an understanding boss.  She really is great.  I totally forgot about an appointment that my mom wanted me to attend with her & my boss didn't even think for a second about letting me take a later lunch & making up time.  She's awesome...but she may not thought twice about it as I'm doing her a big favor today & purchasing her Sundance tickets as she's in court.  Ha!

I am thankful...that even though I bitch & complain about Trouble that she's at least cute.  I mean, look at some of these pictures from her senior picture session...or just picture session if she doesn't get her shit together & pass all her classes.

I am thankful...that I finally finished Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris.  I only have one more left of the Sookie Stackhouse series to read but I really think that I read slower if I'm reading an actual book & not on my Kindle.  Is that weird?  Anywho, I started The 5th Wave last night.  I downloaded it on my Kindle right after seeing a movie preview for it.  Looks awesome.  So, hopefully the book & then the movie will live up to the preview I saw.  Ha, ha!

I am thankful...for Vicks VapoRub.  Really, I love the stuff.  I'm sick & I love dabbing that under my nose so I can smell it & to moisturize my snotbox after being blown so much.  I hate being sick but it gives me a reason to smell Vicks & I'm okay with that!  :)

What are YOU thankful for today?

    1. I really hope that she graduates too...but if she doesn't, she only has herself to blame. But, at least she looked good doing it. Tee hee!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
