This will be the What I'm Loving Wednesday: Chicago Edition. Since I haven't had a chance to share with you my anniversary trip to Chicago, I'm gonna do it today with what I loved about it. Here we go!
I'm loving...that we made a quick detour & toured the Cave of the Mounds.
It was pretty cool but at one point, I got a little claustrophobic. Eeek!
I'm loving...Navy Pier. That was probably my favorite place.
A beautiful look at the city, restaurants, shopping & an IMAX theater
where we saw Crimson Peak (my review on the movie is here). Wonderful.
I'm loving...all the people watching I did. I love doing that & Chicago is a great place to do that.
I saw this gal that reminded me of Helena from Orphan Black.
I was waiting for her to start eating! Tee hee!
I'm loving...that we got to go see Tom Rhodes perform at Zanies. He put on a good show.
I also found a love of Bailey's in my hot cocoa/coffee. Yum!
I'm loving...that we got to spend the afternoon watching football at a Packer bar.
It was a good time. We had great seats & just hung out with our fellow Packer fans in Chicago!
GO PACK GO!
I'm loving...that I got to celebrate two years being married to this man.
It has not been easy whatsoever but I do love him & I know he loves me.
We've been through a lot, more than most people know but he is so great & understanding.
Plus, he puts up with my shit & I'm not easy to deal with most days.
So, Paul, I love you & thank you for loving me.
Happy anniversary! Looks like an awesome trip! I love Chicago!
