Friday Five...

Happy Friday, everyone!  We are less than two weeks away from Christmas now!  Eeek!  I am not ready...I will be but right now, I am not & there is always one more thing to get or buy.  It's exhausting.  Ha!

This week my Friday Five will be realistic gifts I want since last week were gift ideas that...well...were not all that realistic.  I mean, Chris Hemsworth, not realistic.  However, if someone was able to get him for me, I will NOT turn that present down.  Ha!

1.  Charm Bracelet.  So, for the last two years, I've been on the hubby about getting me a charm bracelet.  I think that it would be a fabulous gift & the gift that keeps on giving cuz he could get me charms for different occasions.  Here are some of the charms I put on my Christmas Wish List on Amazon:

  2.  Sports Shirts for Work.  Obviously, if you know me at all, you know that I would sport my teams' colors everyday if I could.  Well, at work on Fridays we get to dress more casual & I like to sport polos & such with my teams' logos on them.  Here are a few that I picked out:

  3.  Snowmen Decorations.  I love snowmen...& penguins.  I have added penguin decorations to my list this year as well.  My decorations this time of year are more snowmen than anything else & then I can leave them out until about mid-January when I take them down for the Valentine's Day decorations.  :)

  4.  Tattoos!  I have ideas for more tattoos & my cousin & I have a plan to go get matching Cousin/Nerd Tattoos.  We are looking at something like this but we want to make some slight changes - like adding Ant-Man to the mix:

  5.  Books.  I'm always in need of new books.  I only purchase the physical books by James Patterson & I'm always behind cuz he releases new ones like every other week!  & there are many on my Kindle Wish List that I would like.  You can never have too many books...I just need more time to read them all.

    1. It's horrible. I really wish that I had more time. I try to get at least a chapter read of my book each night but lately, I haven't been able to even do that. Sigh. :(

    1. Oh my gosh, I have so many books on my shelf that I need to read yet. My hubby gets upset with me when I say that I want to re-read something - "why would you do that when you have fifty books downstairs that you haven't read yet?!" Ha!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
