Tuesday Talk & Holiday Home Tour...

I'm putting these two linkups together cuz, well, it's two days until Christmas Eve & I gotta save time where I can.  Ha!

So, here are some pictures of my home all decorated for the Christmas/Winter season:

This sign never comes down:
#1: I love it.
#2:  It's too big & bulky to move, so I decorate around it.

One corner of the dining room.
The elves sitting on my sign used to be my grandparents',
they have to MUCH older than I.

A closeup of the table setup.

Christmas tree all lit up.

A view of the living room.
Yes, that's Jimmy Fallon & Bruce Springstreen.

Our stockings.
I just got the blue one from some friends
as they didn't want me using the ex-wife's old stocking anymore.  Ha!

When the last fish died, we were able to get rid of the tank,
which meant more space for decorations.  :)

This is what it looks like to be liked -
lots of Christmas cards received.

So, how is your dwelling decorated?

& with this post, it will probably be my last until after Christmas.  So, I hope that all of you have a nice Christmas & I'll catch ya on the flip side!  :)

  1. How fun to see all of you pictures for Christmas. Christmas really crept up on me this year and I don't have very many things put up. I'll have to do better next year. Have a Merry Christmas.

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
