$10 at Target...

I've seen this linkup around for quite a while & always wanted to join in but since the closest Target is a half hour away, it was difficult for me to join in.  However, last week, I had to go buy Deadpool (I like Target versions of DVDs) & knew that I had to do the $10 at Target.  So, I did two different purchases & here is what I got:

I wanted some cute new sticky notes
for work so my first stop was the Dollar Spot.
While these notes are adorable,
they don't stick the best...but I then use paperclips.  Ha!

I knew that I was getting low on
nail polish remover so got a new bottle &
right next to it was the drying spray that was on sale
& I have a can at home but I don't EVER
want to run out of this stuff,
so, I got myself another can!  :)

Grand total:  $8.95
I could have gotten some gum or something!  Sigh!

I had so much fun doing this & if you wanna linkup head on over to either CourtneyLiz or one of the other girls detailed on their posts & join in, you really should!  I hope to do it again next month.  :)

  1. Super cute finds! I love those notes, too!

    1. The Dollar Spot is always my first stop when I hit up Target, they always have some really cool things. :)

  2. Wha? I've never seen the nail drying thing. amazing.

    1. That stuff is amazing! Honestly, get it! I paint my nails every Sunday night & sometimes they would still be a lil wet to where I would have marks from sleeping in the polish, not anymore when I use this stuff. Plus, it's great if you have lil ones that want their nails painted but are to impatient for the polish to dry - Aria! :)

  3. Oh my gosh, YAY!!! I'm so glad you were able to participate this month!
And you got some good stuff. I've never see nail polish drying spray but that sounds genius! I'm going to have to look for that the next time I'm at Target!

    1. I was so excited to join this month! I already have a reminder set a week before the next one to get up to Target to do my shopping. :)

That drying spray is seriously one of my favorite things ever. I love it!

  4. Everything is at least 20-30 minutes away from my house hahaha. So does that drying spray work?!?!?! I have never seen that!

    1. It's awesome! Seriously, it works & I use it every time I paint my nails. I really do love it & would recommend it to anyone. :)

  5. What a fun link up! I've never heard of that nail spray either, I usually just dunk my hands in a bowl of cold water to set the polish- works every time! Pretty stickies!

    1. I was so excited to finally partake in this linkup cuz I always thought it looked fun & it was fun! :)

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli (I like the new button, by the way!) &/or Liz.

My five this week are five Christmas gifts that I got for Sunshine.
  1.  Adidas pants.  I had more thing to get her & she mentioned at her gymnastics meeting that she wanted a pair of these.  I got online & picked her up a pair ending my Christmas shopping for her.
  2.  Paper lanterns.  They were on sale one day at The Walmart & I couldn't resist getting them for her to hang in her bedroom.

  3.  A wax warmer & melts.  She has her bedroom upstairs & we don't allow candle burning up there were it cannot be watched.  Plus, with the mess a teenage girl makes, something is bound to catch on fire.  Anywho, so I got her this warmer and some melts that she can use to make things smell all nice & stuff.  :)

  4.  A Pink sweatshirt & matching socks.  I …

Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...that I got my Christmas cards all out last Friday & that people have already been receiving them!  Now, it's my turn to receive some cards to hang on the front door.  I love receiving them & looking at all the smiling faces & reading the fun "family letters" especially from my aunt, Nellie.  :)

I am thankful...that I got to have a nice evening with my mom & her boyfriend last night.  I had to drop off Sunshine's Christmas gift & pick up her pet carrier so I could take all three cats to the vet this morning so she fed me one of my favorite meals that I never get to have at home - tuna casserole.  & then when I got home, Jill was on her way over so I chatted with her, helped Sunshine with her outfit for tomorrow (she has to dress up as the gymnastics team has a meet this weekend) & then to bed to read & such.

I am thankful...for this coloring book that I got Trouble as part of her Christmas present.  I looked through it yes…

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or April.

My five this week is ways to stay warm when it's frickin' freezin' in Central Wisconsin.

  1.  Drinking warm beverages - coffee, cocoa, tea.  Add some Rum Chata or Baileys for a lil extra warmth.

  2.  Set yourself on fire...or sit really close to a fire &/or space heater.

  3.  Take a long hot bath maybe enjoy your warm beverage as like Olaf is doing.

  4.  Bundle up like Randy does in A Christmas Story - "I can't put my arms down!"

  5.  Just stay in your nice warm bed snuggled up with your cats & a good book or Netflix.
