Friday Five...

It's Friday & time for some fun with the number five.  You wanna join?  Hit up Karli &/or Liz to linkup.  :)

I keep meaning to do a blog posting showing yall my tattoos & telling the story behind each one cuz there are stories/meanings to every single one...but this post will not be it as I don't have pictures of all my tats taken.  I'll work on that.  So, this will be a post about the tattoos I would like to get.

  1.  I love the state of Wisconsin & with the possibility of being able to move outta the state in about four years, I don't want to.  The older I get, the more & more I love this state & what comes with it - four seasons, Up Nort &, of course, the sports teams.  I'd like something like this either on the back of my arm or the back of leg.

  2.  I already have actual music tattooed on my lower back - flute music for the first couple of measures of I Am The Walrus by The Beatles - but I love music so much that I need to have more of it on me.  I think something like this would look awesome on the top of my foot.

  3.  I have three babies that this tat would be for - Chandler, Magic & Tyrion.  So, I would have the kitty with three pawprints & I typically don't like tattoos on gals on the upper arm but the placement of this one is actually towards the front & I like it.

  4.  I already have a butterfly on my right leg & I wanted to have a bunch of different butterflies "flying" up my leg & something like this would fit in great.  I'm a supporter of breast cancer awareness (who isn't?!) & there are people I have lost to it & people around me who are survivors, it would be for those gals.

  5.  My cousin & I are thinking about getting matching Cousin/Nerd tattoos...cuz we're weird like that.  I saw this one & sent it to him right away for his thoughts.  We thought we would do some changes but this is kinda what we're thinking & I love the placement on the foot.

So, do you have any tattoo ideas that you
keep thinking about but haven't
pulled the trigger yet?  What are they?

  1. I enjoyed this because I enjoy hearing tatt stories. I have an appointment July 15th for new ink. I've already had the consult.'ll just have to wait and see........ :)

    1. Oh, come on! That's too far away! I want details now! Tee hee! I need to get me set for another one or finish one of the two on my back. :)

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli (I like the new button, by the way!) &/or Liz.

My five this week are five Christmas gifts that I got for Sunshine.
  1.  Adidas pants.  I had more thing to get her & she mentioned at her gymnastics meeting that she wanted a pair of these.  I got online & picked her up a pair ending my Christmas shopping for her.
  2.  Paper lanterns.  They were on sale one day at The Walmart & I couldn't resist getting them for her to hang in her bedroom.

  3.  A wax warmer & melts.  She has her bedroom upstairs & we don't allow candle burning up there were it cannot be watched.  Plus, with the mess a teenage girl makes, something is bound to catch on fire.  Anywho, so I got her this warmer and some melts that she can use to make things smell all nice & stuff.  :)

  4.  A Pink sweatshirt & matching socks.  I …

Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...that I got my Christmas cards all out last Friday & that people have already been receiving them!  Now, it's my turn to receive some cards to hang on the front door.  I love receiving them & looking at all the smiling faces & reading the fun "family letters" especially from my aunt, Nellie.  :)

I am thankful...that I got to have a nice evening with my mom & her boyfriend last night.  I had to drop off Sunshine's Christmas gift & pick up her pet carrier so I could take all three cats to the vet this morning so she fed me one of my favorite meals that I never get to have at home - tuna casserole.  & then when I got home, Jill was on her way over so I chatted with her, helped Sunshine with her outfit for tomorrow (she has to dress up as the gymnastics team has a meet this weekend) & then to bed to read & such.

I am thankful...for this coloring book that I got Trouble as part of her Christmas present.  I looked through it yes…

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or April.

My five this week is ways to stay warm when it's frickin' freezin' in Central Wisconsin.

  1.  Drinking warm beverages - coffee, cocoa, tea.  Add some Rum Chata or Baileys for a lil extra warmth.

  2.  Set yourself on fire...or sit really close to a fire &/or space heater.

  3.  Take a long hot bath maybe enjoy your warm beverage as like Olaf is doing.

  4.  Bundle up like Randy does in A Christmas Story - "I can't put my arms down!"

  5.  Just stay in your nice warm bed snuggled up with your cats & a good book or Netflix.
