Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or Liz.

My five this week is five pictures that sum up my year.  I didn't get a chance to do this for the Blogtember Blog Challenge so I'm gonna do it now.  :)

1.  Celebrating my birthday with some  of my favorite people. February 2016

2.  Waiting to jump on the plane  to head to Florida for Spring Break. March 2016

3.  Meeting my new cousin, "T" for the  first time with "Z" at my side. May 2016

4.  See the Impractical Jokers in Green Bay. Such a great, great show. June 2016

5.  Probably the biggest highlight (sorry everyone else),  I got to see Disturbed for the first time  & they totally rocked it! July 2016

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Twenty-Seven / Tuesday Talk…

Two birds, one stone...

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such!
Today’s prompt:  Something that made you laugh or cry recently.  It could be a video, a picture, a post, a memory.  Anything that moved you.

You wanna talk about something today?  Well, linkup with some fabulous girls for some Tuesday Talk - JessicaLizStephanie or any of the other hosts.  :)

So, the husband been gone to a work conference in Minnesota so that meant that it was just me & Sunshine.  Sunday night we made calzones & then played on Musical.ly.  Oh my gosh, we had WAY too much with that app.  We made a couple of videos & giggled like lil girls...well, Sunshine kinda is a lil girl, me not so much.  However, I don't know how to share the videos from her Facebook page to put on here so you really will just need to take my word for it, they were hilarious.  We also d…

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or Liz.

My five this week is my Fall Bucket List.  A lot of folks tend to do Bucket Lists for the different seasons.  I'm starting off pretty easy, I think.

    1.  Ghost Jars.  I have tons & tons of old candle jars just sitting around the basement.  So, I think that I'm gonna make some of these cute ghost jars & give 'em to some folks.  Why not, right?

    2.  Drink lots of PSL's.  I am a sucker for Pumpkin Spice Lattes.  I've already enjoyed three this season & I don't plan on stopping until they are done for the season.  Gotta get 'em while I can!

    3.  Apple Picking.  I haven't been apple picking in about two years & I had plans with a friend to do something tomorrow & I suggested going over to the western side of the state to do some apple picking.  She's ne…

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Twenty-Two…

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such!
Today’s prompt:  Fall Favorites.  Share your must-haves for this season.

    1.  Comfy attire to support my Packers or Badgers.

    2.  A delicious soup in the crock-pot.

    3.  A tasty Pumpkin Spice Latte from the local coffee shop.

    4.  Fun Fall decorations surrounding me.

    5.  A scary movie playing on the TV - preferably Pet Sematary.

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Twenty-One…

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such!
Today’s prompt:  If you were a flavor of ice cream, which flavor would you be?  Why?

I would be vanilla.  You think that I'm kidding, I am not.  My friend, Greg, has told me that I'm "vanilla" on more than one occasion.  I like things simple.  Is that a bad thing?  I don't happen to think so.  Plus, I prefer vanilla ice cream over chocolate...actually, I do not like chocolate ice cream at all.  So, me being vanilla totally fits.  Plus, it's one of my favorite scents.  :)

Tuesday Talk...

You wanna talk about something today?  Well, linkup with some fabulous girls for some Tuesday Talk - JessicaLizStephanie or any of the other hosts.  :)

I got a couple of things to talk about on this Tuesday:

    1.  Sunshine Turned Fifteen Yesterday.  She'll be getting a new cellphone from Paul & I on Thursday which she is way excited about & then Paul is taking her & some friends to this trampoline park on Saturday.  She is already making plans for her sixteenth & when she'll be able to drive.  I told her that a couple things will need to take place before she's driving - she needs to pass her driver's test, she needs to have a job & all her grades need to be a "C" or better.  She'll be getting my old car a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt.  I loved that car.

    2.  Pointoberfest.  My bestie, Kim, invited Paul & I to attend Pointoberfest at a local brewery.  We were on board!  Kim's husband, Gary, got the tickets for free so we did…

$10 At Target...

It's that time of the month again when I'm forced to go to Target & find some goodies for around $10.00.  Yea, forced.  Tee hee!  I was SO excited for this month cuz I knew that the Halloween/Fall goodies would be in The Dollar Spot & that's my favorite place to visit.

Before I get to my goodies, lets talk about linking up.  You can hit up Liz (who's birthday is today - Happy Birthday!), Courtney or any of the other ladies.

My goodies:

My full haul.

I saw this picture & I could NOT resist,  it was the first Halloween decoration that I hung up yesterday...in the living room.  :)

I thought these were adorable & I most likely won't used them for appetizer plates but for decorating instead.

Can you ever have too many decorative pumpkins? I think not!

Since I never figure in enough tax, I figured  that I should buy one more item for $1.00 so I got myself more Sticky Notes for work! They don't stick very well but they are pretty &  that's wh…

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Sixteen…

Again, I'm combining these linkups cuz it just works.

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such!
If you wanna linkup with Karli or Liz for some five action, hit 'em up!  :)
Today’s prompt:  How do you destress/take care of yourself?

Here are five things that I do:

Get a massage.

Reading.

Listen to music.

Sleep.

Watch TV specifically a good sitcom.

It's Wednesday So That Means...

This linkup is called Weekly Lessons & the hosts are Mattie and Lex.  So, if you wanna join in, hope on over to linkup!  :)
Mandie's Weekly Lessons:
    1.  You gotta start somewhere.  Trouble recently got a knock on the melon & wants to "make things right" between us again.  How long this will last or what her true motive is, I don't know but at least she made an effort to come talk to me & get on the path to fixing things.  However, if history teaches me anything, it's that she's all talk & no action.  So, I told her that she needs to use her head, make better choices & we'll see how things progress.  She does have a full-time job & that's a step in the right direction but she's only had it for about a week.  My heart hopes & prays that she's serious & wants to make things right but my head is cautious because this isn't our first rodeo.  Guess we'll see...
    2.  Homemade bread must be planned.  I wan…

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Fourteen…

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such!
Today’s prompt:  Make a mood board!  Are you brainstorming a room re-do, a capsule wardrobe or already planning for the holidays?  Show us your ideas!

I like to burn candles so I have tons & TONS of candle jars & other glass jars.  I need to figure out what to do with them so I've been pinning & pinning ideas.  Now, I just need to start working on them.  Here are some of my favorites so far:

These are just a couple of ideas & I have so many jars to do fun things with...I just gotta make the time to do it.  There lays the real problem.  Ha, ha!

Do you have any fun jar ideas?  If so, please share them with me!  :)

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Twelve…

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such!

Today’s prompt:  Three books!  One book you just read, one you're currently reading and one you want to read.

One you just read:  I know, it's not one but I'm gonna consider it one.  I finished up reading the Complete Collection for the second time & went right into The Cursed Child.  The best way to do it, I think.  The original stories were fresh in my brain before following Albus on his adventure.  :)

One you're currently reading:  I heard people talking about this book but it wasn't until I saw the movie preview that it got me to download it.  I'm about 20% in (per my Kindle app) & I just wanna sit & read & read.  I want some answers gosh dang it!  Ha, ha!

One you want to read:  I've never read this & it's been sitting on my Kindle for quite a long time.  I kno…

Musical Monday/Weekend Update...

Musical Monday - Head Like a Hole by Nine Inch Nails.  I've been on a real 90's kick lately & on Sunday I was listening to some NIN & this song has just been stuck in my brain.  :)

Weekend Update -

Friday:  I started my weekend off with a trip to the grocery store where all good weekends begin.  Ha!  Then I got home, unloaded the groceries & then headed out to dinner with the hubby.

We enjoyed a drink at the bar before being seated.  We got a cheeseboard to start things off & then he got Surf & Turf Kabobs & I got a Chicken Caesar Sandwich.  Everything was delcious & I was so full that I didn't have room for a malt from a local ice cream place.  :(

We then went home to watch Now You See Me 2.  You can read my review here.  Then it was off to bed where I couldn't fall asleep because I kept playing in my head conversations to have with Trouble as she wanted to see me sometime during the weekend "to make things right".  In case yo…

My Thoughts On...

IMDB's summary:  "One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public's adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, The Four Horsemen resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than Walter Mabry, a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all."

My thoughts:  I enjoyed the first one, not enough to add it to my collection but it was enjoyable.  I missed Isla Fischer but I do like Lizzy Caplan, she's always a funny, sassy gal & I love that.

How cute is that dress she's wearing?!

I liked the story.  I liked that Daniel Radcliffe was the "bad guy".  It was entertaining & funny.  A good watch but, again, one that I will not buy for my collection.  I'll see i…

The Blog-tember Challenge: Day Nine / Friday Five...

Yup, I'm combining things again.  Why not, right?!

I love these prompts & I thank you so much Bailey for doing these for the month.  If you would like to join the fun, head on over to Love Bailey Jean to linkup & such for The Blog-tember Challenge & then if you want to linkup on the Friday goodies, hit up Karli &/or Liz.

Today’s prompt:  if you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?  Why?
Since I'm doing Friday Five at the same time, I'm gonna do FIVE places I'd like to visit.
Here we go!

    1.  Cabo San Lucas.  Look at that picture, that's why I want to go there!  Beautiful & warm, just the way this girl likes it!  :)

    2.  Liverpool.  The hometown of The Beatles.  Plus, I'm kinda scared to go some place that doesn't speak English so...yea...

    3.  New York City.  The city that doesn't sleep, where there is always something to do.  I'm game.  Broadway shows, Jimmy Fallon - I want to go right now!

    4.  Los Angeles.  …
