$10 At Target...

It's that time of the month again when I'm forced to go to Target & find some goodies for around $10.00.  Yea, forced.  Tee hee!  I was SO excited for this month cuz I knew that the Halloween/Fall goodies would be in The Dollar Spot & that's my favorite place to visit.

Before I get to my goodies, lets talk about linking up.  You can hit up Liz (who's birthday is today - Happy Birthday!), Courtney or any of the other ladies.

My goodies:

My full haul.

I saw this picture & I could NOT resist,
it was the first Halloween decoration that I
hung up the living room.  :)

I thought these were adorable &
I most likely won't used them for appetizer plates
but for decorating instead.

Can you ever have too many decorative pumpkins?
I think not!

Since I never figure in enough tax, I figured
that I should buy one more item for $1.00
so I got myself more Sticky Notes for work!
They don't stick very well but they are pretty &
that's what matters!  :)

How did I do:
well, I went over by $.55.
Not so bad, I guess.

  1. Going over by .55 is ok for me! I like those plates!

    1. They had a couple of different designs of those plates & I'm hopeful that they will have some next month too...I couldn't pass up the raven picture or the pumpkins. Ha!

  2. I contemplated those little dishes! And, the pumpkins! But, I passed them up because getting some things for Aria's pumpkin surprises was the goal. Love little fun pumpkins though. I might still need them...

    1. I really think that I may go back & get, at least, the other set of dishes. They were just so cute. :)

  3. Ohhh I love all your Target finds!!! And Ciderboys Cranberry Road sounds so so so so good! I will have to look for it when I can drink again haha. My oldest niece turned 16 last month, it is so crazy to think about 16 year olds and driving. AHHHHH

    1. Oh, Cranberry Road was so good! It would be a perfect drinky poo for Thanksgiving, I think. :)

I'm having a little easier time with the thought of this stepdaughter driving. My oldest was/is a mess, my younger one is a little better. Tee hee!

  4. One of these days I'll remember to do this link-up, I love the idea! You got some good stuff- those dishes are my fave!

    1. I love this linkup! It's a whole lotta fun. Plus, you can really find some good stuff! :)

  5. Isn't Target the absolute best? I love it. You got some fun things.

    1. I love Target! Luckily for my wallet, the closest one is a half hour away. Ha!

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli (I like the new button, by the way!) &/or Liz.

My five this week are five Christmas gifts that I got for Sunshine.
  1.  Adidas pants.  I had more thing to get her & she mentioned at her gymnastics meeting that she wanted a pair of these.  I got online & picked her up a pair ending my Christmas shopping for her.
  2.  Paper lanterns.  They were on sale one day at The Walmart & I couldn't resist getting them for her to hang in her bedroom.

  3.  A wax warmer & melts.  She has her bedroom upstairs & we don't allow candle burning up there were it cannot be watched.  Plus, with the mess a teenage girl makes, something is bound to catch on fire.  Anywho, so I got her this warmer and some melts that she can use to make things smell all nice & stuff.  :)

  4.  A Pink sweatshirt & matching socks.  I …

Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...that I got my Christmas cards all out last Friday & that people have already been receiving them!  Now, it's my turn to receive some cards to hang on the front door.  I love receiving them & looking at all the smiling faces & reading the fun "family letters" especially from my aunt, Nellie.  :)

I am thankful...that I got to have a nice evening with my mom & her boyfriend last night.  I had to drop off Sunshine's Christmas gift & pick up her pet carrier so I could take all three cats to the vet this morning so she fed me one of my favorite meals that I never get to have at home - tuna casserole.  & then when I got home, Jill was on her way over so I chatted with her, helped Sunshine with her outfit for tomorrow (she has to dress up as the gymnastics team has a meet this weekend) & then to bed to read & such.

I am thankful...for this coloring book that I got Trouble as part of her Christmas present.  I looked through it yes…

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or April.

My five this week is ways to stay warm when it's frickin' freezin' in Central Wisconsin.

  1.  Drinking warm beverages - coffee, cocoa, tea.  Add some Rum Chata or Baileys for a lil extra warmth.

  2.  Set yourself on fire...or sit really close to a fire &/or space heater.

  3.  Take a long hot bath maybe enjoy your warm beverage as like Olaf is doing.

  4.  Bundle up like Randy does in A Christmas Story - "I can't put my arms down!"

  5.  Just stay in your nice warm bed snuggled up with your cats & a good book or Netflix.
