Another month starting with another Currently linkup - awhoo hoo!  So, what does Anne have going on this month?  Well, come along & check it out!  :)

Cheers-ing...right now, some coffee with some Pumpkin Pie Spice creamer in it.  I'm am cheering to a drama-free day!  Awhoo hoo!

Organizing...I've organized both mine & Sunshine's clothes this past weekend.  I swapped out my Spring/Summer stuff for my Fall/Winter things & we got rid of a couple of bags of her stuff that doesn't fit or she doesn't wear.

Dreaming...of this weekend.  The hubby & I are taking our wedding anniversary trip.  Since I don't have any vacation time left, we are just going to spend the weekend in the Wisconsin Dells.  I am SO excited cuz I'll finally get to ride Ghost Boat.  I've been wanting to do that for YEARS now!

Buying...Christmas presents.  I've slowly been coming up with ideas & I've bought two gifties already - one for Jill & one for Sunshine.  I have an idea for "Z" & then I have some ideas for picture gifts.  I always love to give picture gifts.

Listening...right now, nothing but the purr of my space heater & two of my coworkers discussing the status of a case outside my office.  Ha!

  1. I'm starting the great seasonal swap too. Picture gifts are always great- I'm thinking of putting together a calendar of pics for my mom and a friend of mine. Other than that, I just bought a bunch of these cute clutch purses (on super sale) that come equipped with a charger inside, so all the gals in my life are getting them for Christmas! What's a Ghost Boat? Have a great anniversary weekend!

    1. I love that clutch purse with a charger inside - very cool!

It's a boat ride to "Witch's Island" complete with ghost stories & such...I think. All I know is that I'm super excited for it! :)

  2. Woah Christmas gifts - you're totally on top of your game!! Enjoy your trip! :) Thanks for linking up!

    1. I don't have many bought but I do have a start. The end of this month & next month is when I do most of it. I gotta stay on top of things especially with the list I have to buy for. Ha!

  3. I reallllllly need to organize my clothes. I need to give some things away. I've still got a few boxes from our last move over a year and a half ago that aren't unpacked. I figure if I haven't needed or worn what's in those boxes by now, they need to go!

    1. True that! Time to donate! I really have to get our bags of junk out of my hubby's office & get them donated. One of these days...

  4. Anniversary trips are the best, even if they're just a quick weekend getaway - so good to have the chance to do that as a couple! Enjoy :)

    1. Thank you. We had a very nice weekend - lots of good food, some shopping, etc. :)

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli (I like the new button, by the way!) &/or Liz.

My five this week are five Christmas gifts that I got for Sunshine.
  1.  Adidas pants.  I had more thing to get her & she mentioned at her gymnastics meeting that she wanted a pair of these.  I got online & picked her up a pair ending my Christmas shopping for her.
  2.  Paper lanterns.  They were on sale one day at The Walmart & I couldn't resist getting them for her to hang in her bedroom.

  3.  A wax warmer & melts.  She has her bedroom upstairs & we don't allow candle burning up there were it cannot be watched.  Plus, with the mess a teenage girl makes, something is bound to catch on fire.  Anywho, so I got her this warmer and some melts that she can use to make things smell all nice & stuff.  :)

  4.  A Pink sweatshirt & matching socks.  I …

Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...that I got my Christmas cards all out last Friday & that people have already been receiving them!  Now, it's my turn to receive some cards to hang on the front door.  I love receiving them & looking at all the smiling faces & reading the fun "family letters" especially from my aunt, Nellie.  :)

I am thankful...that I got to have a nice evening with my mom & her boyfriend last night.  I had to drop off Sunshine's Christmas gift & pick up her pet carrier so I could take all three cats to the vet this morning so she fed me one of my favorite meals that I never get to have at home - tuna casserole.  & then when I got home, Jill was on her way over so I chatted with her, helped Sunshine with her outfit for tomorrow (she has to dress up as the gymnastics team has a meet this weekend) & then to bed to read & such.

I am thankful...for this coloring book that I got Trouble as part of her Christmas present.  I looked through it yes…

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or April.

My five this week is ways to stay warm when it's frickin' freezin' in Central Wisconsin.

  1.  Drinking warm beverages - coffee, cocoa, tea.  Add some Rum Chata or Baileys for a lil extra warmth.

  2.  Set yourself on fire...or sit really close to a fire &/or space heater.

  3.  Take a long hot bath maybe enjoy your warm beverage as like Olaf is doing.

  4.  Bundle up like Randy does in A Christmas Story - "I can't put my arms down!"

  5.  Just stay in your nice warm bed snuggled up with your cats & a good book or Netflix.
