Musical Monday / Weekend Update...

Musical Monday - Rusty Cage by Johnny Cash.  This is my favorite Johnny Cash song.  Most people say that Ring of Fire or Boy Named Sue, not me, Rusty Cage.  :)

  Weekend Update -

Friday - Paul & I went out to Buffalo Wild Wings with our friends, Ben & Christa.  It seemed to take forever to get our grub but we didn't mind too much as we just chatted away.  Then we went out for a glass of wine before heading home for the eve.

Saturday - the hubby & I started our day off with some breakfast at a local diner - pancake, hash browns & sausage patty.  Yummy!  Then we went to Home Depot to get some stuff for some projects that Paul wanted to tackle - painting the ceiling of the living room & redoing pretty much everything in the bathroom.  Then home to hang out.  Paul then went bowling for a friend on league, Sunshine went to a hockey game & stayed the night at a friend's so I had the house to myself for a bit.  It was pretty dang nice.

Sunday - slept in a lil bit & then did some chores, made chicken dumpling soup in the crock, some bread in the maker, helped Paul do some painting & then hung out until it was time to shower, do nails & watch The Walking Dead.

A pretty quiet weekend which is fine by me...

  2. Chicken dumplings sound so amazing!!! Yum! Don't you love how as an adult we spend more weekends than we would like to admit doing adulting things like Home Depot and house chores?

    1. I know! Remember back in the day when it was just boozin' & sleepin', sleepin' & boozin'...I think that I'll take the chores & trips to Home Depot over that. Ha, ha!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
