Thankful Thursday...

I really need this post today cuz have a horrible night last night, I'm feeling drained & such this morning.  So, thinking of things that I am thankful for will hopefully help...

I am thankful...for my dear friend, Ashley.  I honestly do not know what I would do without her.  She is multiple states away from me but I know that when I need her that she is only a text/FB message away.  She knows more about me than anyone else in my life & that is no joke.  Everything that happens in my life, she knows about it - the good & the bad.  I am just so very thankful for her friendship & I would scream it from the rooftops, if I wasn't afraid of heights.  So, this will have to do for now.  I love you, Ashley!

I am thankful...for the cup of coffee I am drinking right now.  After a shitty night of sleep, I need it real bad this morning.  I do, however, wish that I was enjoying it on a balcony overlooking the ocean but I'll take what I can get & that's a coffee from the comfort of my office with my space heater going & some candles burning.

I am thankful...that this weekend I'll be celebrating my birthday with some of my favorite ladies.  I decided that instead of going out to dinner with a bunch of people, I wanted to spend some time at home in my comfies, playing games & having a few drinks with my girls.  I cannot wait.

So, what are some things that
YOU are thankful for on this Thursday?

  1. I love you, too! I don't know what I'd do without you, either! You're constantly there for me no matter what, and I appreciate that more than you'll ever know! We still need to figure out how to move states around so we can be closer!!

It sounds like you have a great weekend planned! You deserve that after this week! So, enjoy!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
