Another month starting with another Currently linkup - awhoo hoo!  So, what does Anne have going on this month?  Well, come along & check it out!  :)

Watching...I've been trying to devour the Marvel Universe shows on Netflix - Daredevil, Jessica Jones & Luke Cage.  I have finished seasons one of Daredevil & Jessica Jones & working on season two of Daredevil before moving on to Luke Cage.  & let me tell you, Frank Castle aka The Punisher is one badass!  I am loving these shows & I am getting even more excited for The Punisher show which doesn't look like it's being released until the Fall.  Ugh!

Eating...nothing but I am trying to figure out what to make for supper.  It's snowing like crazy here so I want to make something that will warm the soul.  We were supposed to do hamburgers but with the weather & the fact that my husband will want to make them on the grill, I'll have to think of something else.  Hmmm...

Saying..."jackweed" a lot lately.  That's my new term for people that I don't particularly care for.  So, I've been using it a lot for many people it seems.

Wearing...this sweater, black dress pants & black, white & gray striped knee socks:

Posting...ah, this blog.  I've also already posted my Makes Me Happy Pics post for the month of February so bounce on over there for a look.  :)

  1. Yep, as we get back to colder weather I'm turning the ground beef into lasagna and chili again instead of burgers :) And "jackweed" kind of cracked me up. Thanks for joining in!

    1. I actually decided to make creamy chicken wild rice soup in the crockpot. One of our favorites"

"Jackweed" is just funny. Ha, ha!

  2. That sweater looks cozy. Crockpot meals for warm, hearty food are the best!

    1. Oh, Jessica Jones was my favorite so far...but that will have some competition when The Punisher comes out. Eeek! :)

I got the sweater at Maurice's, which is where most of my work clothes come from...that store is my weakness but I think that if it's for work, it's okay. Ha!

  4. I agree with Erin- that sweater looks super cozy! I've been wearing the same, and lots of layers. So ready for spring!

My personal favorite warm weather food is chili (in the crockpot, of course!) Oh, and chicken noodle casserole. And hearty beef penne.

I'm curious about your thoughts on Daredevil. Punisher is one cray mf'er! I loved Season 1, but I got bored somewhere in Season 2. I may tune into the Punisher spin-off though.

    1. Chicken noodle casserole & beef penne - I've never had either of those but I am very intrigued by the sound of them. Yum!

I like Daredevil but I liked Jessica Jones better. However, Frank Castle/The Punisher is the reason I watched Daredevil in the first place but I do really like Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, he's pretty dang cool as well. :)

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli (I like the new button, by the way!) &/or Liz.

My five this week are five Christmas gifts that I got for Sunshine.
  1.  Adidas pants.  I had more thing to get her & she mentioned at her gymnastics meeting that she wanted a pair of these.  I got online & picked her up a pair ending my Christmas shopping for her.
  2.  Paper lanterns.  They were on sale one day at The Walmart & I couldn't resist getting them for her to hang in her bedroom.

  3.  A wax warmer & melts.  She has her bedroom upstairs & we don't allow candle burning up there were it cannot be watched.  Plus, with the mess a teenage girl makes, something is bound to catch on fire.  Anywho, so I got her this warmer and some melts that she can use to make things smell all nice & stuff.  :)

  4.  A Pink sweatshirt & matching socks.  I …

Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...that I got my Christmas cards all out last Friday & that people have already been receiving them!  Now, it's my turn to receive some cards to hang on the front door.  I love receiving them & looking at all the smiling faces & reading the fun "family letters" especially from my aunt, Nellie.  :)

I am thankful...that I got to have a nice evening with my mom & her boyfriend last night.  I had to drop off Sunshine's Christmas gift & pick up her pet carrier so I could take all three cats to the vet this morning so she fed me one of my favorite meals that I never get to have at home - tuna casserole.  & then when I got home, Jill was on her way over so I chatted with her, helped Sunshine with her outfit for tomorrow (she has to dress up as the gymnastics team has a meet this weekend) & then to bed to read & such.

I am thankful...for this coloring book that I got Trouble as part of her Christmas present.  I looked through it yes…

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over to Karli &/or April.

My five this week is ways to stay warm when it's frickin' freezin' in Central Wisconsin.

  1.  Drinking warm beverages - coffee, cocoa, tea.  Add some Rum Chata or Baileys for a lil extra warmth.

  2.  Set yourself on fire...or sit really close to a fire &/or space heater.

  3.  Take a long hot bath maybe enjoy your warm beverage as like Olaf is doing.

  4.  Bundle up like Randy does in A Christmas Story - "I can't put my arms down!"

  5.  Just stay in your nice warm bed snuggled up with your cats & a good book or Netflix.
