It's Wednesday So That Means...

So, back in the day, there was a linkup about weekly lessons.  I really liked it but since it has crumbled & the linkup is no more.  :(  I really liked doing it so I'm going to continue doing it, join me!

I've learned...that I cannot cut back on my anxiety/depression meds.  I had attempted it for a week & things did not go well, I turned into a major bitch or slept.  That cannot be happening.  So, back to my full dosage, I go.

I've learned...that I am about to lose my shit on my husband for the constant babying he's doing of Sunshine.  He cleans up her room, her bathroom, puts away her laundry, makes food for her that she can clearly make, etc.  Mind you, she's sixteen years old & really has no chores around the house except to keep her room & bathroom clean, to bring down her laundry, to put away her clean laundry & clear the table.  I know that he means well but he's enabling her & making her dependent on him.  There is nothing more that…

My Thoughts On...

IMDB's summary:  "T'Challa, the King of Wakanda, rises to the throne in the isolated, technologically advanced African nation, but his claim is challenged by a vengeful outsider who was a childhood victim of T'Challa's father's mistake."

My summary:  another kickass superhero with an awesomely smart lil sister & beautiful home!

I thought the cast was amazing, the soundtrack was incredible but as the starter films tend to be, not as exciting & fun.  I was really excited about this movie ever since seeing Black Panther in Civil War.  It was good but nothing like Guardians: Vol. 2, Ant-Man or Ragnarok.  I really am excited to see what T'Challa's lil sister, Shuri.  It's lookin' like she could give Tony Stark a lil run for his money!

I like the strong women in the movie, I mean the king's guard is made up of all women.  I love it!  Marvel seems to really be embracing the strong women thing especially after seeing the success of Wonder…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
I've decided to do a "Day in the Life" type deal for my weekend.  So, here is my "Weekend in the Life":

Rise & Shine.

My hubby brought me a delish latte.

My new wallpaper for the week featuring Deadpool.

Selfie time!

This picture creeps me out...

Lunch at a local coffee shop with my mama. <3

Is it time to go home yet?

My orchid that I got from the hubby last Valentine's Day.

Awhoo hoo - freedom!

Friday Five...

Why, hello, everyone.  'Tis that day of the week when we all pick five things to talk about.  So, if you would like to linkup you can head on over toApril to do so.  :)
My five this week are some funnies that I've recently pinned on Pinterest:

Thankful Thursday...

I am thankful...for good starts to the day.

I am thankful...for classic rock, it puts me in a nostalgic mood.  :)

I am thankful...for the Skarsgard boys - Alexander & Bill.  <3

I am thankful...for the Hemsworth boys as well.

I am thankful...for dinner plans with my sister tonight.

I am thankful...for finding a new podcast to listen to in the morning - Idiot w/ Chris Hardwick.

What are some things that you are thankful for?

It's Wednesday So That Means...

So, back in the day, there was a linkup about weekly lessons.  I really liked it but since it has crumbled & the linkup is no more.  :(  I really liked doing it so I'm going to continue doing it, join me!
I've learned...that although I have many books to read - physical or on the Kindle - I still cannot figure out what to read next & end up buying a new book.
I've learned...that when my husband is gone for a week for work, that when he returns, it doesn't seem like he was really gone that long.  Ha!
I've learned...that my love for Justin Timberlake is still strong especially after the release of his newest album - it's so good.

I've learned...that even though I destroyed the Target bathroom after my first trip to Qdoba, I have another trip planned for tomorrow night.  Tee hee!

I've learned...per my dream I has having this morning, is that I should be living in Chicago.  I was working there & loving every moment of it which I truly believe I would…

My Thoughts On...

Goodread's Summary:  "Lindsay Boxer's beautiful baby is born!  But after only a week at home with her new daughter, Lindsay is forced to return to work to face two of the biggest cases of her career."

My Summary:  "More crazy shit happens to four powerful women in San Fran."

My love for James Patterson is so real.  I love how he writes & sets up his books.  They are such easy reads.  I've been chillin' with the ladies of the Women's Murder Club for many years, even though I am behind on their books but it's always fun to see what madness is going on in their lives.  My heart did break a lil bit with the breakup of a couple in this one but I will survive.  Ha!

Per usual, the plot keeps me reading & interested to know who did what as there is always multiple mysteries in the WMC books.  I, however, I had called it on one of the killers in this one which always makes me happy to figure out, makes me feel smart & such.  Tee hee!
