Currently...

Another month starting with another Currently linkup - awhoo hoo!  So, what does Anne have going on this month?  Well, come along & check it out!  :)

Traveling...I don't really have any plans at the current time to do any traveling any time soon.  I should really remedy that, I think.

Grilling...with our busy schedules lately, we have not actually sat around the dinner table for a family meal.  Therefore, no time for grilling.  Again, that should be remedied.

Exploring...the world of graphic novels aka comic books.  I had started out with reading The Walking Dead & I have since read a Captain Marvel & a Deadpool.  They are quite enjoyable, quick reads.  :)

Planting...nothing...I am planting nothing.  I gave it another go & I think that I killed four more plants.  I just do not have a green thumb & it sucks because I love how pretty flowers are.  Luckily, my hubby is better & has some pretty flowers in our garden & even planted me some sunflowers.  <3

Playing...I've been playing my usual Marvel Puzzle Quest on my Kindle & then also a Word Worm game.  I like games that make me think a lil bit.

  1. I love graphic novels! They really can be super quick reads - and I love the different artwork styles, etc.

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…
