Thankful Thursday...

Well, it's a gloomy day here in Central Wisconsin but even on a gloomy day, there are things to be thankful for & here are my things for this day:

  1.  200th.  Yup, 200th.  This is my 200th blog posting which I'm sure a lot of you passed a long time ago but I'm just glad that I found a place that I like to post again & that I'm finding new people that I love to read & get comments on my stuff from.  So, thank you, Blogger!

  2.  Fun-filled weekend plans.  This weekend is gonna be a busy but really fun one & I cannot wait to get it started with K & D's birthday celebration tomorrow night, a Brewer game on Saturday to celebrate my cousin's birthday, staying in Oshkosh Saturday night & then going shopping with Trouble in Appleton on Sunday.  I cannot wait!

  3.  Breakfast for Dinner.  I have came to the conclusion that every Thursday at our dwelling is "Breakfast for Dinner" night.  I love breakfast foods, they are SO delish & they just make me feel all warm & fuzzy inside.  Tonight, we'll be trying French Toast Casserole made in the crock-pot.  It sounds pretty dang amazing.  I just hope that it turns out as well as I think it will.

  1. I love breakfast for dinner.. mainly because Roland doesn't let me cook pancakes, so that means he has to cook! :)

    1. Sweet! It's always nice when someone else does the cooking, that's for sure! :)

  2. I LOVE breakfast for dinner! We had it recently and I definitely want to make it a regular thing. Especially since I just got a waffle maker!

    1. I love my waffle maker! One of the best things EVER! Ha!

  3. Girlfriend, you need to get rid of word verification. It makes it so hard to comment!

    1. Word verification? What's that & how do I get rid of it? Ha!

  4. 200 is huge! I don't think I'm anywhere NEAR that!

    1. I thought it was really doesn't take much to get me excited. Ha, ha!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
