Funny Football Friday...

I decided to blend the two today into one big fun blog post.  I need all the cheering up I can get after the debacle of a football game between the Packers & the Seahawks last night.  I was even Snapchatting with Ms. Kristine over at Living Barefoot & Crazy as she's a Seahawks fan.  But the better team won last night, if the Packer defense would have shown up, I'm sure the outcome would have been a little different.  Sigh.  Oh well, there is a long season.

  1. That ref/ helmet one is funny!

    1. I just love the look on Cutler's face when he's trying to catch his helmet. I'm shocked that he didn't start crying...although, it looked like he almost did. Tee hee!

  2. haha love these. my husband starts getting super excited like a month before football season starts and before the big games he lays out his favorite jersey and shoes. lol

    1. Oh my gosh, your hubby sounds like mine. He has to sport his Aaron Rodgers jersey & he has to have soup...I didn't do that for the first Packer game & I am to blame for that loss. Ha!

  3. Yay! Shout out!! :) that was fun. I hope y'all kill the cowboys!

    1. Of course you get a shout out! Ha! If the Packers cannot beat the Cowboys especially after how they played yesterday, we have some issues!

  4. Oh my gosh... that Cowboys picture about the tornado is too, too funny!

    1. I loved it & it's so fitting especially after the game they played yesterday against the 49ers. It was almost painful to watch & I cannot stand Tony Romo & the Cowboys! Ha!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
