#Blogtober: I Never Thought Blogging Would...

I never thought blogging would/could be a positive place.  On my last blog, it was such a negative/drama filled site & I never thought that I could find a lil positive piece of the internet right here with some of the great people I've met - KristineTinaDianaJenni &, especially, Ashley.  I love the rest of you too so if you're not listed it doesn't mean that I don't love you so please don't be sending me a bunch of hate.  You've all taught me something & introduced me to some pretty cool things - Birchbox, Be Nice Box, Swag Swaps, link-ups, etc.

I am so happy to be here & I may even share this little piece of the internet with Jill as she is so interested in my blogging abilities.  I mean, who wouldn't, I'm fabulous...or something like that.  But I'm not ashamed of anything here & I should be okay with sharing it with "the real world", right?  :)

So, thank you, you lovely people!  Hugs!

  1. Holler! Loving this shout-out girlfriend! So glad we've "met" :)

    1. Maybe someday we'll actually meet. You're a pretty cool chick...even though you're a Seahawks fan. ;)

Who am I kidding, I picked them to kick some ass this year so they are a pretty damn good team. Plus, they have Russell, I love him! :)

  2. Aw, Mandie <3 I think blog friends are some of the nicest friends I've ever had. Yay for blogging!

    1. Couldn't agree with you more! One of my bestest friends, I met while blogging. Now, there doesn't go many days that her & I don't talk. I <3 blogging! :)

  3. Aw thanks for mentioning me. This little place you have here is wonderful and I love that we can all come together from completely different places and share our stories judge free. Writing in my blog and reading nice comments from people who choose to come back again really helps keep me sane!

    1. You're one of my girls here, of course I would mention you! I really do enjoy reading your little adventures with Lyla, she's a very lucky lil girl to have you as her mama. :)

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
