#Blogtober: That One Thing...

One thing I cannot live without...hmmm...carbs.  I cannot live without carbs in my life, no frickin' way in Hell could I do that!  I am SO glad that I can eat gluten.  Otherwise, I would probably throw myself off a damn bridge.  Breads, pastas, crackers - I want it all!  So delicious.  I want carbs on top of carbs - "oh, the mashed potatoes on top of toast...YES, PLEASE!"

  1. Haha I love carbs too! I try to limit to one carb a meal because of my blood sugar and in an effort to use moderation, but there is no way in hell I would ever cut out carbs completely.

  2. I could never survive on a no-carb diet. Potatoes, bread, pasta, rice... Love them all!

  3. CARBS YES. I have no idea how people can live without them. I successfully lose weight when dieting while still eating carbs. Carbs are wonderful.

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
