September Monthly Goals Update...

Lets see what I can check off my list of goals for the month of September:

  1.  Mandie/Stepdaughter Dinner.  Oops, with all the stuff going on with Trouble, this was a hard thing to plan with her but I did do church & supper with Sunshine one night & that was wonderful.

  2.  Donate.  Ugh, really?!  I didn't do this either?!  I need to get on top of this real quicklike & get my things donated to Goodwill, the Humane Society & the "free library".

  3.  Craft Project.  I did get some crafting done but not the main project I wanted to finish - a corkboard/chalkboard/whiteboard for my mom.  It's together I just need to get a back to the frame I picked up at a yard sale.

  4.  Reading.  I finished Allegiant!  Awhoo hoo!  I was going to start reading Dr. Sleep next but decided to read Blogger Girl by my friend, Meredith, instead.  So, I get to cross this one off!  Awhoo hoo!

  5.  Workout.  Hmmm...yea...moving on...

  6.  Night Cleaning.  I have been staying on top of this every night & been very happy with having it done every night.  I looks so nice...but then, the girls happen in the morning.  Sigh.  It's a vicious cycle.

  7.  TV/Movie Night With Goose.  Once American Horror Story starts next week, we'll be doing this.  Right now, all he seems to watch is football & then channel surfing.

  8.  Mailing.  I did do a couple of these - one for my friend, Courtney, & then another for the Fall Swag Swap.  So, I can check this off, right?

  9.  Jimmy Fallon Time.  Another one that I can cross off!  I'm home from lunch, I have my daily date with Jimmy.  He makes me giggle & I love him so much!  :)

  10.  New Music Tuesday.  I have been doing this & I've been finding some pretty cool new music but my starred playlist on Spotify changes so much now that I don't have much time to enjoy what I had on there from the week before.  So, this may end up being a biweekly thing instead of a weekly thing.

  2. How did you like Allegiant!? I loved it, although it was a little slow at first. I wish Four had taken the pill at the end though, that was my only critique!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
