Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

I cannot tell you how true this is especially right now.  It's cold here in Wisconsin, the real feel is -40.  So, there is nothing better than some warm coffee in the belly & a good book to warm the soul.  Dammit, now I want to go to the local coffee shop with my book & order me a gingerbread latte - delish!

What are two things that make you happy?

    1. A pint & a hot dog, huh? At a baseball game, perhaps? :)

  2. I'd have to switch that to tea ... and a good book, and I'd be happy. Though I might be happier with a pint and a hot dog... :)

Oooops, sorry about that -- I thought I could edit in something and deleted. Sheesh... now your comment looks out of place. So ... allow me to go back, copy/paste and put back here. Sheesh. I wanted to add "a pint of Guinness" hahaha

    1. And I still didn't add Guinness where I had wanted it. OK, I call this a fail on me when it comes to Blogspot comments!

  3. OH GOD it's probably even colder where you are than me, and that seems so impossible. I hate this cold. But I do love coffee and books, they totally help get through the cold weather.

    1. It is cold here but it's Wisconsin, it's gonna be cold. I try not to bitch about it too much cuz it's not going to change unless I relocate...which might be nice. I think that I'll just tag along with you when you move. :D

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
