My Thoughts On...

The hubby & I had another kidless night last night so we got real crazy - made ourselves some Mac & Cheese & settled in to watch Exodus.  Hey, it was a Monday & we both had to work today.  So, dinner & a movie at home, it was.

I'm a huge fan of Christian Bale, he's amazing & he did not disappoint in this.  Playing a holy figure is no easy task & some people may turn their backs on actors that do but I thought he did well as Moses...however, I'm not the most religious person so it does not bother me.

Anywho, I thought the costume & makeup was great:

And the special effects were stunning especially the parting of the sea & the tornadoes:

  1. I saw this in theaters... and had no idea it was a religious movie. I didn't read a synposis for it or see a trailer. I was so darn confused what was going on. And then like 45 minutes into the movie I was like OH MY GOD HE IS THAAAAT MOSES!!! I literally turned to my parents and whispered YOU DID NOT TELL ME THIS WAS A RELIGIOUS MOVIE! It cracked me up. I liked the movie! Makeup and special effects were great!!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
