Funny Friday...

It is a daily struggle on whether to be a dick or not.  Tee hee!

Well, here we are again talking about our plans for the weekend...weren't we just doing that?!  It's just crazy on fast time is flying lately.  However, another day gone means another day closer to having no kids in the house!  Awhoo hoo!  Tee hee!  You folks with younger children will totally get me when they enter their teenage years.  Ha!  My girls have been good - *knocks on wood* - but it sure is delightful when we don't have to worry about homework or phones that don't work or curfews.  Maybe I'll be bored when they are gone but right now, I'm just excited for the calmness of no children.

Anywho, on to the weekend plans!

Tonight, I'm going out to dinner with my friends. Ashlee & Colie, & then we're gonna go see Furious 7.  Finally!  I am pretty dang excited.  Tomorrow evening, we have a big ol' birthday bash for Greg & Chelsie.  I'm not sure what the daytime hours will consist of though.  & Sunday, will be the usual, I'm sure - grocery shopping & chores.

So, like usual, LET THE WEEKEND BEGIN!!!!  :)

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…
