Friday Five...

It's FRIDAY!  Woot, woot!  Can yall believe that it's already June 5th?!  I mean, really?!  That's frickin' insane, if you ask me.

Here is my Friday Five for this first Friday of June - five of my favorite comedians:

  1.  Dane Cook.  I cannot tell you when & where my love for Dane Cook blossomed but it did & I listen/watch his stuff like you wouldn't believe.  Sometimes, I talk right along like you would sing along with a song.  I know, crazy but I think he's funny.  I did see him live once but I walked out disappointed because I knew about 95% of his material.  So, for that reason, I will probably not go see him live again.

  2.  Daniel Tosh.  Oh my gosh, he cracks me up like you wouldn't believe!  I saw one episode of Tosh.0 when it first aired & I just knew that I needed to see more of him.  He's kind of a weird little asshole but I love him!

  3.  Chelsea Handler.  I miss watching her every night on Chelsea Lately.  She said what she wanted & she didn't give two shits what people thought.  I don't think she was so much being funny, I just think that she was being honest...& you know what, it's funny cuz it's true.  Tee hee!  Plus, her books - I have them all!

  4.  Christopher Titus.  I am probably one of the few people that not only remember the TV show Titus but have the seasons on DVD & have seen & quote the episodes many, many times.  Yea, love them.  I've seen his standup, I have listened to it on Spotify.  He cracks me up with his crazy family stories.  Ha!

  5.  Bill Cosby.  I know, I know, rape allegations but the Bill Cosby Himself stand-up - hilarious!  I watched it when I was younger & would giggle uncontrollably.  It probably was the first stand-up I actually watched & that's where my love for comedy came from.

 (please don't mind the subtitles)

  1. hahah oh man, tost.0 is so funny!! he says the funniest stuff about so many weird videos!
xo, Candace | Lovely Little Rants

    1. Although, there are some of the videos that I have to turn away - broken bones &/or vomiting. Blah! Tee hee!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…
