Blog-tember Challenge #5...

Today's prompt:  Put your iTunes/music player on shuffle & share the first ten songs that play.

Now, I typically don't post on weekends or schedule anything to post on weekends but this prompt was too much fun to pass up.  So, here are the first ten songs that played from my Starred playlist on Spotify:

  1. Kill the Lights by Luke Bryan
  2. High by the Beach by Lana Del Rey
  3. Yup by Easton Corbin
  4. Dirty Work by Austin Mahone
  5. House Party by Sam Hunt
  6. The Vengeful One by Disturbed
  7. Halo by Startset
  8. Summer by Maroon 5
  9. Love Myself by Hailee Steinfeld
  10. Cut the Cord by Shinedown
Yes, my whole playlist looks like that - songs from all genres except there is no hip-hop on that list but it's on that playlist, believe me.  Ha, ha!

  1. I have no idea what any of these songs are haha

    1. You would probably like Lana Del Rey, she's pretty Indie, I think. Check her out. & if you like some rock, Starset is pretty good. I saw them in concert back in May.

  2. My list would be a big eclectic mess as well!

    1. You never know what you'll get when you get into my car - hip hop one second, country the next. It's just all over the place. Ha!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…
