Friday Five...

Happy Friday, my lovely people.  Since I have a pretty booked weekend ahead of me, I'm gonna post the five things that I will be doing this weekend.

  1.  Underwear shopping.  "D" is now doing potty training & she remembered that I told her when she starts, that I would get her some Minnie Mouse undies.  So, Greg & Jill asked if I would watch her for a little bit tonight while they take the older kids & look at a house.  I agreed & decided that I would take her to pick out her undies & have a Mandie-"D" Night.  :)

  2.  Gymnastics Meet.  Tomorrow morning, Sunshine & I are gonna hit the road to Eau Claire to watch a gymnastics meet with my coworker & her daughter.  There is nobody we're going to watch.  We're just going to go.  So, we are road trippin' & I'm pretty excited.  It should be a nice day.  :)

  3.  Dinner w/ hubby.  When Sunshine & I return from the meet, she'll go babysit "D" & maybe the hubby & I can have dinner or something while she's doing that.

  4.  More shopping.  Jill & I are gonna go shopping at the outlet mall in Wisconsin Dells on Sunday because I just really need to hit up the Disney Store.  Not only do I LOVE the Disney Store but I gotta finish up "C"'s birthday present & he's all about Star Wars & they have a wonderful selection of goodies.

  5.  Watch TWD.  I always count down to The Walking Dead but I am getting SO excited to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan on the show that I just wanna get to that and asap!  However, I think that I could do without the whole Rick/Michonne thing.

  1. I hope you had fun at the gymnastics meet today! I always get sucked into it when it's on TV. I did some gymnastics when I was younger and always wonder how I'd be if I stuck with it a little longer!

    1. It was fun lil trip - watched some gymnastics & ate at Olive Garden. The girls did pretty well except one girl totally "crotched it" on the beam. I didn't see it but I heard the groans & Sunshine saw it. Eek.

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
