My Thoughts On...

IMDB's summary:  "A former Special Forces operative turned mercenary is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopting the alter ego Deadpool."

My thoughts:  loved it!  It's so raunchy & fun!  Think witty like Ironman but a whole Hell of a lot dirtier.  They started off right away with the beginning credits with the funny.  I've been real excited about this movie for a really long time & it did not disappoint.  The only thing that disappointed me was that Ryan Reynolds' beautiful face was either covered with the mask or lookin' horrible after the experiments.  However, seeing ALL of Ryan Reynolds made up for it...& when I say "all", I mean ALL.  Ha, ha!

I am anxious to see where Deadpool goes from here - will he join up with the X-Men again at some point?  Will he just be on his own?  I don't know but I'm really excited to find out.  I'm so glad that Ryan Reynolds & Co. fought to get this movie going.  It was great & I want to go see it again right now.  Plus, I loved the soundtrack!  :)

Deadpool's Grade:
B+

    1. If you're a Marvel nerd like me, you need to see it. If you just want some good laughs at some dirty stuff, you'll get what you paid for. Ha!

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Weekending/Musical Monday…

I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!
So, on to my weekend...
Friday - the husband & I went out to dinner and for drinks with our friends, Ben & Christa.  & then headed back to our house for some games.  A nice quiet evening with some great people.
Saturday - my cousin, Jennifer, & I decided to take a last minute trip to Appleton for some shopping & such.  We had her youngest with her & he was perfect!  We had so much fun & while at Scheels, I educated him about Bucky Badger because he kept going over to the Wisconsin Badger stuff & by the end of our trip in that store, he was calling out "Bucky!"  My heart could not be prouder.

When we got back into town, Paul & I went out for a couple glasses of wine & then headed back home to relax & watch Baby Driver.  You can read my review here.

Sunday - typical Sunday, spent the morning hanging out in be…
