I've decided to start linking up with Biana on reporting on activities of the weekend.  If you would like to join, hit her up!

So, on to my weekend...

Friday - the start of Double Date Weekend, Paul & I went out to dinner with my friends from high school, Jake & Courtney.  Jake is my longest friend, we were in kindergarten together & the same church.  So, he's pretty special.  :)

Saturday - got my butt outta bed & ready to take Sunshine to get her hair & makeup done for the Fire on Ice dance.  Well, while getting her hair done, her sister called to say that she had to work so was unable to Sunshine's makeup.  Needless to say, Sunshine was upset but she used Trouble's makeup & got herself ready instead & looked great.

After pictures, the kids took off to their very fancy meal at Perkins, Paul & I ventured to one of our favorite places, Father Fats, to meet up with my cousin & her husband.  We had some drinks, ate some delicious food & nailed down our plans for our trip in the Fall to Branson.  I am not really looking forward to Branson but I am excited about the company.

Sunday - my hubby left at about 4:00 in the morning to head off to Syracuse for work.  He'll be gone until late Friday night.  So, I laid around for a bit & then did some chores & then settled in to start watching Black Mirror - oh, wait a minute - Hemlock Grove instead.  Ha!  I got a couple of episodes under my belt before ordering pizza & watching IT with Sunshine.  So, needless to say, I had dreams of Bill Skarsgard last night.  I won't complain.  :)

Happy 34th Birthday To Me...

Since tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I decided in celebration of it, I should list 34 facts about me.  So, here we go:

1.  For lunch today, I had a Big Grab bag of Funyuns, a bottle of Dew & some mini-Snickers.  I'm all about my health today, it seems.  :|

2.  I bought my first pair of leggings today since I was about 12.  They are for working out & they were on clearance.

3.  Speaking of leggings, I so badly want the tattoo version of them.  You know how the complete coverage of the arm in tattoos is called a "sleeve", I started calling the complete coverage of the leg in tattoos a "legging".  Ha!

4.  I've seen every episode of Friends at least ten times.  Paul will turn it on when it's on TV & test me on what episode it is...I'm rarely wrong.

5.  I really, really, really want to go back to Vegas real soon.  I'm almost half-tempted to ask Paul if we can go there for our second anniversary.

6.  I pretty much have tiny panic attacks on a da…

Words of Wisdom Wednesday...

True frickin' dat!  The old phrase "think before you speak" comes to mind.  I know that sometimes emotions get the best of us & we don't think things through before we let words leave our lips.  Sometimes those words can be hurtful, embarrassing or lovable.  Lovable doesn't seem to be one that comes to mind, I'm sure, but I remember the first time that Goose told me that he loved me.  He didn't think it through & those three lil words came flying outta his mouth at a birthday party in an old friend's living room.  I could not believe it but those words were already out in the universe.

I doubt that Goose would change anything now but at the time, it scared him to say those words & he probably would have thought it through a little better but, in that case, I'm glad that he didn't.

However, I'm really trying to get the girls to think before they speak & I tell them that once words leave their lips, they may have it off thei…
